Local Buy was established in 2001 by the LGAQ to streamline the complicated procurement processes for Queensland councils. We do this through a legislative exemption that allows government to compliantly meet key criteria automatically when using an LGA Arrangement.
From our inception, we have expanded to help Norther Territory, Tasmania, Not for Profits, Charities, Sporting Bodies, Educational Organisations and many other buyers.
